Growing up with immigrant parents that taught her to work hard, survive and thrive through all sorts of human challenges, our guest shares with us the incredible lessons she learned as an entrepreneur thanks to her mother.
Lucy Ibarra is a wife, mother of three grown children, and grandmother of three, a California-based mortgage lender who serves her community by creating a deep human experience through obtaining homeownership.
Her heart has led her to a community for women who are growing through their own healing journey from past trauma to believe enough in themselves, become homeowners or set other goals in motion.
As a co-founder of “The Rising with Grace” community in 2019, workshops and events were set up to allow a platform and safe space for women to unite in their self-growth and healing journies.
This has propelled her to create additional spaces for younger generations of women to break generational cycles in order to show up differently for themselves and their futures.
This was all inspired by her finding herself through her own personal journey, through her Mother’s own experience, and from wanting her daughter and future generations to use their voices.
Throughout her journey as a woman entrepreneur working in a business that is mostly male-dominated, Lucy shares with us the importance of
- Always staying humble
- Work hard
- Stay Grounded
- Use your voice
- Honor your parents
- Being a genuine cheerleader for your clients
- Know that God knows what you need, where you are going, and want.
