116 – How to Be Resilient with Stacey Copas
“When nothing is certain, anything is possible”
In this week’s episode, I had the privilege to interview a human who is the true embodiment of RESILIENCE and a woman who has defied all odds and has proven with her own experiences that we are truly limitless and that limitations exist only in our minds.
Stacey Copas is a master in helping people shift the way they perceive and respond to uncertainty, change, and adversity. She helps them to see opportunities where they once saw only obstacles.
As the world rapidly changes, people are having to do more with less, are more stressed, and have less balance in their lives.
To be fulfilled and successful in embracing the changing world, Stacey can help you develop resilience to see and act on the opportunities that change presents.
Stacey is the author of “How To Be Resilient,” she is an International Keynote Speaker and Facilitator on finding the opportunity in change and adversity.
She has worked with large organizations such as Telstra, CSIRO, and Holden and has been featured in national media including ABC, Financial Review, and The Australian for her insights on resilience in the workplace.
What makes her approach different is that Stacey is not an academic or psychologist.
She has created a framework of resilience based on the life experience of overcoming the adversity of becoming quadriplegic at 12 years old.
No acronyms, jargon, or fluff!
Her services are frequently used for:
=> Executive teams leading through change
=> Sales teams needing the resilience to deal with setbacks and rejections without losing momentum
=> Organizations or associations looking for a high-impact way to kick-off to a conference, retreat, or staff planning day
During our conversation Stacey shared with us:
Her story before and after the accident she survived.
How her accident at 12 years old, that turned her body, not her mind, into a quadriplegic body, shaped the future of her mission and the service she renders to others and the world.
